A possible eating disorder? |
- wont let myself eat foods i love - check weight 2-4 times a day - freaks out if i cant find the scale - obsesses over how fat i am when im skinny - people noticed how ive gotten skinnier - friends are surpised when ia ctually eat something at lunch - when im hungyr, somtimes i starve myself. - ive lost about 9 lbs. whats up with me? Sad that you are turning against yourself. I think you know that you should see a therapist before it worsens. Know this - you deserve to enjoy good and nutritious food that sustains the body that carries you through life. Well, YEAH. You have an eating disorder. Time to see your doctor. Immediately. maybe see your doctor,, actually not maybe you have to go see your doctor it could be serious!!!! Yes, I'd say that you have a problem. Discuss this with your doctor and, if you're a minor, with your parents. This is not good so try to stop this behavior now before permanent damage is done. Take care. Yes you do. I'm sorry. The best thing about it is that you realize it, because if you are worried about it, then you can get help to stop it. Sadder are the girls who refuse to admit it, they also refuse to get help for it. Please find someone who can help you, before you do such serious damage and can't stop. Thank you for caring about yourself enough to do something about it. The biggest sign of that you have an eating disorder is not that you don't eat very often, but that you obsess over the scale. This is a key sign of an eating disorder. I seen your other question. Have you tried looking into group therapy? Sometimes its good to talk to someone who is going through problems. Sounds like you are getting obsessive compulsive about food. Go talk to someone or try to figure out what food represents to you. Are there other areas of your life in which you feel you have no control? Many times, people with eating disorders are suffering from inability (perceived or real) to excercise control over circumstances in their life, so they control the only thing they can, and that is their food intake. Go talk to a professional. |
