Fighting an eating disorder?? |
I need help, but i feel like i dont want it. I am sick i know, never eating, never sleeping, loosing hair, weight, and taking anger out on other people. feeling guilty, never satisfied, etc... I dont know what to do anymore. If i gain weight i am really depressed and feel so ugly, all i am asking is that someone tell me a way i can overcome this feeling all the time...its getting too hard for me to handle im about to break! Is a doctor the only way out because i dont have the money, nor do i want to go to a doctor to get medication or anything. Please dont answer with rude comments, im serious about this... Hi. well i kinda found an answer. first when you dont eat and lose wieght u r just geting rid of bone and muscle. you might even have more body fat than you used to even though u may not look it. when u have muscle u burn cals just sleeping. im sure u work out to so this could be easy!! ok first start eating. i know its hard to see the numbers go up but your size wont change cause your gonna be gaining muscle. eat healthy!! this is important cuz u might binge and get discouraged so avoid that! also you prob dont like ur body shape right? the only way to change that is to shape it with muscle, otherwise u just end up with a smaller version of what u have. find out how to eat healthy! dont be afraid of food it will give you energy and you deserve that. after u r eating for at least 5 days start doing or looking into lifting weights. but u gotta keep eating!!! try not to look at the scale!! i still cheat and look and ya it freaks me out but i know its muscle and bone and i wanna be pretty again and i will u can too. start living your life!! try to be nicer, it is hard but it just takes time. the best thing is this : once you start eating i swear your brain gets soooo much better you can listen and think better and about lots of things not just food. try to reconnect with your body listen to what it needs. a life of ana/bul is not worth anything you may as well enjoy life your here right. and you always have control and a choice!!! if you mess up one day its ok cuz every day is a new day a new chance to take your life back!! u just have to try!! 4 real this time!! just dont give up!! it is gonna be hard but you have been through worse i bet i know i have. you will start to laugh again u gotta miss that!!! i know u do!! i swear once u start getting better u will feel so much better!!! its hard but do it!! if it sounds too scary and i know it does just remember that whats the worst that could happen?? u gain too much right, well thats my fear n e way but i know how to diet and workout so i can if i WANT latter on but i know i eat enough and healthy most days and ive started gaining muscle and i sleep!!!!! :)) so even though its still a battle everyday its a battle i can actually win!!!! u will never win at anarexia and u know that, just think of all the stuff u can do if you used all the power u used for this?? wow. u know it! please try!! it will be ok just battle it out 4 at least 1 month and DONT purge!! try reading about getting better too, u can help yourself just try!!! I'm really sorry that you're going through this Sweetie, but I'm glad you want help. A doctor would be best, but you can go to a clinic and be referred to free/reduced health and psychiatric care. You need to see a doctor to get your health on track and a psychiatrist to work on the root cause of this. You don't have to take medication. Don't feel depressed or upset when you gain weight it is what happens when you intake things even water but eventually it comes out and the weight is not on you. Start eating again and if you are worried about gaining weight eat healthy balance meals and do some aerobic excersize 3 times a week for about 20-30 minutes each time. Dont take it to the extremes. I take it you don't have insurance either. You are reaching out and that is such a big start to getting help. You realize you have a problem. Also a very good thing. There are lots of ways to get help. A couple that I suggest are seeking out either a United Way chapter in your town and/or some sort of MHMR chapter. Both are geared to get you into the program you need at a price you can afford. Some will be scaled to your income. But do seek help. If you need someone to help you call around because you are too depressed to do it yourself, ask for that help. you need to go to a series of doctors, one doctor for nutrition to help u with your eating, one doctor for counseling because it's also a mental issue and a regular doctor to keep progress of your health, weight and all that. this is the only way. talk to your family, friends, ppl that care about you and they will help you through it. eating disorders are dangerous to your health so get help ASAP! |
