Argue about eating disorder? |
is eating disorder good or bad? how can i write an argumantative paper about this topic? Bad.....Research it! I actually think that it can be either depending on who you talk to. If you talk to someone with an eating disorder they'll say its good and for ppl like tha gurl above me will say its bad. if you research it you will most likely only see the negative facts about it. Well, there is a reason we call it an eating disorder. It obviously isn't healthy. People die from them. Overeating, anorexia, bulimia... Research Karen Carpenter. She died from anorexia. Some areas in the modeling industry are requiring that models have a healthy range BMI due to deaths and illnesses related to eating disorders. They are also classified in the DSM-IV TR as mental disorders, usually related to poor body image. This is a very touchy subject. Taking the good side is a risky road, but would make for an interesting paper. The bad is safer due to extenisive research and documentation about the dangers. I doubt there is any good points about having an eating disorder. I think maybe you should do your paper on something else, i dont think there is any real argument here. There's tons of videos on youtube.com with keywords bulimia anorexia. People die from this mental torment that takes over the body. I was lucky to be saved from myself having struggled with bulimia for 10 years. My healing came by the power of Christ and its been 13 years of total recovery I can only tell you, this is a living hell that takes over the minds, body's of women and men all over the world. You should gather your facts from reputable stats and then visit gravesites for those who didn't make it to conclude your point. You can find online stories of those who didn't make it by using bulimia death in google. Here's a site for those who want help with a focus on Christianity for healing mind body soul. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/fre... |
