Do I have an eating disorder? |
I hardly eat and when I do, I eat and then I throw up. Whenever I look in the mirror I see myself as an obese person. My friends are starting to realize but I am totally denying it. My boyfriend is really worried about me. Do I have an eating disorder? You have the same case like the one I just answered earlier. I can defintely conclude that you have anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa.. Anorexia nervosa describes an eating disorder characterized by low body weight and body image distortion. Individuals with anorexia often control body weight by voluntary starvation, purging, vomiting, excessive exercise, or other weight control measures, such as diet pills or diuretic drugs Bulimia nervosa is a psychological condition in which the subject engages in recurrent binge eating followed by an intentional purging. This purging is done in order to compensate for the excessive intake of the food and to prevent weight gain. Purging typically takes the form of vomiting; inappropriate use of laxatives, enemas, diuretics or other medication; excessive physical exercise, or fasting I suggest you seek help from a professional who will help you deal with your disorder. If you won't seek for help now, you might suffer terrible consequences in the future... Here's an article about the anorexic twins that I hope will help you... Good luck!!! http://theinsideronline.com/celeb/3300/.... http://www.helpingendeatingdis... Source(s): www.wikipedia.com http://theinsideronline.com/celeb/3300/.... www.helpingendeatingdisorders.... I think so because you make yourself throw up right? If you do then your a belamic. But if you don't make yourself throw up then you might just have a stomach problem. It sounds like it. Try to stop seeing yourself as obese. Just love yourself. If you must lose weight, be healthy and get support of friends & family. STOP THE VOMITING. You will thank me later. STOP THE VOMITING, now. Yes with a capital Y it sounds like anorexia, but you should consult a doctor to get a diagnosis. Yes, of course you do... get help... |
