Im just getting over a eating disorder ?



every now and then i have panic attacks shortness of breath tighten chest racing of the heart and hot flashes like dizzeness like im fellen this morning I went to the doctor when i first had these systoms he said i was fine it was my muscles breaking down but im still worried could something be really wrong with me or Is this just a Panic attack

Your just having a panic attack. You have to realize that the eating disorder is a serious condition and its roots are a psychological thing. Make sure you are eating several small meals a day to keep your sugar levels balanced and to maintain your strength. I would suggest you get yourself into a yoga class to help with some calming excercises and to maintain muscle tone. Also, go to the store, buy some Celestial Seasonings Tension Tamer tea and sip on that if you start feeling "off" like you do when your anxiety levels are high. The stuff works great if my own anxiety levels are high, which is a great alternative to anti-anxiety medications that they have available.

A heathy diet is vital to keeping yourself calm. Excercise is going to not only keep you slim and toned, but will also increase the endorphines to your brain, which are the "feel good" hormones.

If you do have a panic attack, take some deep relaxing breaths, and remember that you just need to ride it out, that it will pass, and then move on. Be sure to pat yourself on the back that you got thru it.

If you have an eating disorder, you may want to consider going to a support group or counseling. You will likely find others who are going through the same things you are, and believe me it always helps to know that you are not alone!

it simply sounds like panic attacks hunn... have you discussed any medications that may be available to you for the panic attacks? I think that might be your best option if this occurs often. Sorry to hear that you're going through this.
It depends on what type of eatting disorder you had if you were makeing yourself throw up then those symptoms are normal but if you just made you self stop eatting it could be you body trying to eat your insides but u whould have to be serioulsy underweight for that to happen. Panic attacks are something you get when you have real bad nerves. I have them adn i started smokeing marijuana and i dont get them any more. Well i hope i helped you out and never get and eatting disorder again there horrible and it only makes it worse on yourself.
