How to deal with my eating disorder? |
My parents know I have issues with eating, but they take it lightly. I do to, it hasn't been a big deal except for the emotional pain. I am underweight, I am of average weight, 5'6" and 155 lbs. But the pain in my head and contast obsessing is really killing me and all the relationships with people around me. So the issue is that you need to be happy with how you look. I think that if you started exercising regularly you'd look better, lose weight, and most importantly, feel better about yourself. You'd feel better because you're starting to look better, but also because you feel like you're taking the innitiative and doing something about it. People can complain and complain, but until you actually start doing something about it, I won't listen. Exercise would stop the obsessing. Also, though, you should try to be happier with yourself. How? I don't know. I struggle with those issues too, so when I find an answer, I'll let you know. I used to take dance class when I was in high school and middle school. Sometimes it was really tough, because I'm a big bosomed gal. One of my friends in dance had the same issue so we stuck together. Anyway, there were girls who had eating disorders in dance with us. Myself, sometimes I'll fast and not eat enough to lose weight or slip into hyperactivity to lose weight. Just know that you're beautiful and you don't have to be perfect. There are a lot of guys out there who like regular sized girls. In fact, I think most do, because the pretty ones who are superskinny are often not nice. Life experience |
