Is it really called an eating disorder?

they say i have an eating disorder but an eating disorder is obssesed with food and or obssessed with weight loss or weight gain, but i'm not obsessed with any.... i just don't like to eat. so is it considered an eating disoreder?

any eating habit that is outside the bounds of "normal" eating is considered an eating disorder. We just tend to think of the extreme examples (like anorexia, bulimia, and overeating) as disorders.
YOUR CONDITION MAY BE TERMED AS ANOREXIA NERVOSA
Yes that is one of those as well. Yes some people dislike eating enough to actually starve themselves to the point of being unhealthy. Some even eventually die from all the bad effects over the years.

Think about it and see if you are actually doing harm to yourself or if you have formed good eating havbits that keep you healthy but not over eating or eating the wrong things.

I would have been considered having a disorder when young as well but I am nearly 70 now and am very healthy and alert. I never was over weight and only ate when I was truely hungry. I ate food that was healthy as well but that may have been caused by the times. I was young long before fast food chain stores.

If you find your health is not what it should be then you do need to do something about it.
