I think I may have an eating disorder? |
At my normal weight, I am about 5' 4" 138lbs, with measurements: 39, 27, 36 I am a wrestler, and during season I took "cutting weight" to the extreme. I wouldn't eat or drink for days, and I would run and work out hard on top of practices... I would go maybe a week without eating and then basically, ravenous with hunger, eat anything in sight until the need arose to cut weight again. Now that that is over, I have been unable to control my eating habits... it's like a permanent binge and I am so scared. It's like I have no control over myself and I can just feel the fat and the weight creeping on. During season, I would throw up what little food I had and not eat... now i can't even keep myself to a healthy diet! I am so terrified of getting fat but I just can't seem to stop. I really don't know what to do, what is my problem? I eat normally and sparingly throughout the day and binge at night. I am scared of starting to throw up again and worse getting fatter... Please, nothing mean Tell someone. The faster you get help the better. Eating disorders are serious, and definitely need someone else's help to take control of them. If you are still throwing up after binging, it sounds like bulimia. If you aren't throwing up, using laxatives, exercising excessively, etc after binging, it sounds like compulsive eating disorder. All eating disorders can hurt you, badly, so please tell someone. Almost anyone can find a way to help. Source(s): I have an eating disorder, and have gone through recovery before for it, but relapsed again. Group therapy. You honestly need to see a doctor and maybe a psychiatrist. Go to the doctor or hospital now before it gets worse, please. |
