How can a 27 year old change his eating disorder of never eating vegetables?

I am a 27 year old male that has never tolerated any vegetables. The only two that I'll remotely come in contact with are corn and pickles. The interesting part about this is that I enjoy tomato juice, tomato soup, and any tomato sauce without any types of chunks but will not eat a tomato. I enjoy the taste of onions but not the texture. I don't enjoy any green vegetables and have never eaten a salad. All of my food orders are without vegetables (burgers, chinese food, etc.) which is pretty costly sometimes. It has gotten so bad that I even ask waiters to ensure that the chef leaves off any parsely as most restaurants tend to sprinkle it on top of the food nowadays. Is there any cure for this? It is starting to affect my relationships with people and I know that it will eventually affect my health as well. I'm actually physically fit on the outside and I drink plenty of water. The no-vegetables thing has seriously become an issue. Serious answers only please. I appreciate it!

Ok, well I guess if you really want to start eating vegetables you're going to have to acquire a taste for them individually. I'd start with the ones that you already know you like the taste like the corn, try different preparations. With the pickles you might want to try to eat them in there natural state... cucumbers. You could also use dressings and seasonings till you can get used to the tastes of the veggies. I mean, I don't thing you need a cure, we all have different palettes and you've just never had the chance to appreciate vegetable prepared in a way that you can enjoy. Bottom line, if you can't bring yourself to appreciate the food, there's no point in forcing yourself to eat it. People will have to understand that you don't like the veggies and you can always take vitamin supplements to make up for the nutrients that you're not getting. Good Luck!!!
If you've never tried a salad, then you don't know what you are missing. Lettuce may seem scary, but it's pretty harmless. You sound like my man, who is a carnivore, so if that's true make your salad more "you-friendly" by adding ham or chicken to it. Most guys like ranch dressing, but healthier options would be any vinergarette out there or salsa. If you want to ease into it, try making a salad that's about half meat, half veggies. Then instead of eating it out of a salad bowl, throw it into a tortilla. I think you'll be surprised how much it helps with the texture and taste, cooling and refreshing. Just reduce the meat and increase the veggies every time. Eventually, you'll be a normal person. Then you can go smack your mother for not teaching you better eating habits as a child... 鈾?
Try a veggie smoothie. Use tomato juice as a base, then add carrots, cucumbers, broccoli, etc.

If that still sounds unpalatable, try V8 juice. The trouble with tomato juice (and V8) is both have high levels of sodium.

You might also want to try jicama, a vegetable which has an apple-like taste to it.

Once you get accustomed to veggies (and fruit) and make it the main part of your diet, you'll see a big change in how you feel - you won't feel bloated or weighed down and you'll be much more alert.

Serious medical issues (like gout, colorectal cancer, etc.) could be a concern if you don't change your diet. Give some thought to seeing a nutritionist.
If you don't like the texture, then you can always puree it into a soup or sauce. If you don't like the taste, you should try different recipes. Maybe you just haven't found the way you would like them prepared. Seasonings can do wonders for vegetables. My children refuse to eat zucchini, but they eat it when I put in in spaghetti sauce---they just don't know it's there. Try www.fooddownunder.com they have some pretty good recipes.
