please help

I used to have an eating disorder so i can help you. The worst thing that you can do is accuse her cause that will get her mad and it wont help the situation. What my friend did was she would always want to spend time with me, like she always wanted to have a sleepover and stuff like that. She would always watch me really close and see the kinds of things that I ate and when Id go to the bathroom. Just try to see exactly what your friends eating habits are. Maybe she eats more when shes at home. Or eat something that she used to like and say something like "this is so good, do you want any?" and see what she does. if she says no be like you used to like this why dont you any more? And then tell her your concerns. Just please please please dont blatantly come out and accuse of an eating disorder. It will make everything worse. Good luck. Source(s): experience
well, i had a friend who had an eating disorder and i just sat her down somewere were it was just me and her and i asked her about it....she eventually told me and i didnt tell anyone else by her request. but i did try to help her with it and it worked out ok so try that.
You can't change anyone. You can only change yourself.

I certainly can understand your desire to help your friend, but when someone has a psychological issue they need to seek help themselves and no amount of hinting or pushing from someone else will do it.

Just remember, when you give someone attention for bad behavior, you are are making it more likely they will repeat the behavior because your attention is a form of reward.
Well i think you should sit her down when you two are alone and personally talk to her and say "I'm really concerend about......" and stuff.
Is she a minor? Tell her parents. She will be pissed but you may be saving her life. If not, there's not much you can do except try to convince her she should get help. Treatment is the most scary thing for people with eating disorders because they don't want to go and gain weight. So don't be mean or bossy at all when talking about it - it's such a touchy subject.
do u know what she eats at breakfast and dinner? i eat hardly anything lunch and breakfast but i chow down at dinner, same with a friend of mine, she may just not be a lunch person...but talk to her, i mean she may corner u, but if she's that defensive, it just gives u a point.
