Ok - I think I can cure my eating disorder by myself - what do you think ? |
I went nuts today but I calmed my self down. I was going to call my university's Eating Disorder Clinic but I think I can handle it on my own I feel really good But I need advice Here's my story: You feel weak and sick because you're not getting NEAR enough calories per day!!! You should be getting 3000 calories since you're an active 19 yr-old male (2400 cal if you were "sedentary" which clearly you are not). Of course, since you're probably becoming accustomed to low amounts of calories, it will take some time to move it back up, but trust me you will have so much more energy if you consume more calories! If you're exercising as much as you say you are, then you're actually burning more calories than you say you are (and therefore you need more to compensate!). I strongly recommend getting some help at your university's Eating Disorder Clinic. They can help. I'm a college student myself, right around your age too, and I know it probably feels weird to call them, but you'll feel better if you do. You don't have to cure your eating disorder yourself, so why should you? Good luck!!! Source(s): I'm taking nutrition classes at my university- I actually like learning about it! Why don't you want to go to the Eating Disorder Clinic? You know it can't hurt. They can't strap you down and force feed you. You really don't have an excuse for not trying to seek professional help. Professionals study this stuff and can give you the tools to help you succeed. you need to go see a Dr or you will end up killing your self i have anorexia and have been though all of this You need help go to the clinic and ask!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 go in-patient or you are going to die. For real. No, really. Get help. This will take years to fix, years of help with doctors, not months. Really. no, trust me i tryed to get over mine by myself but i couldnt. it took everyone iknow to help me out and now that im better i still deal with it abit.... i hope u get better iknow its not an easy thing to go through |
