What do u do when yr mom think u have eating disorder and u know u dont have any freaking eating disoder?

my mom pisses the hell out of me

why does she think you have an eating disorder? the only way to deal with this is to sit down and talk to her
Tell her to seek professional help, or go as a family.
Just because you are objecting so much, you sound like you DO have an eating disorder. Why does Mom think this way? Are you really skinny? Obsessed with your weight? Not eating? Think you're fat?
Well i guess your mom wouldn;t just say that out of the blue, she may have seen some signs that you may be overeating or not eating enough and she may just be worried...Just talk to her if you think she is wrong and if she is right, just get some professional help....
Right on, Point Ho (previous poster person)!

By your use of the word 'freaking' you are indicating that this has upset you. It has upset you because you think there might be a fraction of truth to your mother's concern. First you need to go look up what an 'eating disorder' entails in a psychology book. It is not simply that you eat too much, too little, or gag yourself after meals. There are many other 'eating disorders'. And chances are, you do have a disorder, because in truth, many many people have such problems, its just that they never get them diagnosed. Its no big deal though. Eating disorders, alcohilism, debt, egotism, consumerism....thats just the way it is in our world. Dont sweat it, as long as you think that you are happy.
an eating disorder is a problem with your relationship with food. people can be anorexic, so starving themselves, bulemic, or throwing up their food, or overeaters. the people who starve themselves and/or throw up usually have a distorted picture of themselves as being fat when they're not. usually overeaters are fat and know it, but eat and can't stop.

people with eating disorders often know it and can't stop.

you may have one and not know it. consider the possibility. look at your relationship with food and how you view your body.

if you don't have an eating disorder, then talk to her and explain how you feel about your body and what your eating habits are. explain that you love your body and eat the right amount of food and all of that.

if it is necessary, tell her you'll talk to a therapist to make sure you don't have an eating disorder, and then talk to the therapist with her so that the therapist can tell her you don't have an eating disorder.
