I think i have anarexia, or some sort of eating disorder please help!?

I think i have an eating disorder. i am 5ft tall and 100lbs, every time i look in the mirror i think im fat, and i can pick out my bad problem areas. so i don't look in the mirror any more. i havent weighed this little in i dont know how long. all through hish school i weighed 115 120. shortly after i gratuated i miscaried at 4mo. then a year ago i had my daughter. when i went in to have my c section i was 140. i eat one meal a day if im lucky, or if i eat its equivelent to a happy meal size and a wont eat until the next day, ill have two pops and a water to drink a day, and i'v been told that i look sick by people, or im getting too skinny. that just makes me try harder to lose weight cause if they see im getting skinny they can see my problem areas too. and i just keep telling my self i only want to lose two more pounds just to see if i can, then its two more, and on and on i dont think i can stop any more, its like a sick game. do i need help? is this a disorder. please help.

Yes, you need to see a physician who can refer you to an appropriate specialist (usually a psychiatrist, since anorexia and bulimia are psychological disorders with body image).

A friend years ago died of anorexia. See was nearly 6ft tall, and weighed nearly 88lbs when she died. Beautiful woman, bright, intelligent, gifted and athletic, but the disease took root and nothing anyone said or could do would get her to eat appropriately. Will power and encouragement isn't enough to get through the disorder, it needs professional help and assistance to overcome the body image problem.

One way to think about it is: if everyone else around you believes you're too skinny, how can they all be wrong, and only you're right? It's that sense of "specialness" of being "all knowing" that keeps the condition going. Stats and medical evidence isn't enough, as everyone else is wrong. That's the disease talking, as that much evidence isn't a "lie".

If you find yourself in that pickle, yes, you need to seek professional help. Not die alone in an ER due to an opportunistic disease that robs the body when it no longer can keep it's immunity up by loss of nutrition. Pneumonia killed my friend in 3 days, there was no defense left in her skeletal remains to put up a fight.

If you can't/won't do it for yourself now, do it for those who love you, as leaving a legacy of a nightly phone call of, "honey, sit down I have some bad news...", hurts them worse.
your mind might play games with you.. i dont really know, please contact a doctor immediatly ... goodluck

you have some body image issues and yes possibly and eating disorder the only way to stop now is to see your doctor and get some physical and psychological help. if you have no other motivation to get better think about your daughter growing up without you because it got the best of you..dont you wanna see her grow and have a family of her own
Yes, you have an eating disorder-anorexia. Please contact a doctor immediately for help.
Yes, you definitely have a problem. Had 2 friends in college with eating disorders, one anorexia and one buliemic. Both went to counselors to find the source of the issues (each had own issues, but both did share a common issue, which was that there mothers were very controlling). BUT, the damage they did to their bodies years ago is now affecting their lives - they both look about 10 years older than they are - and they both may not be able to have kids. Look in yellow pages or go to hospital or women's shelter for help before you get any worse. You don't want your daughter to see you do this, because she'll be on Yahoo in 15 years asking the same question - it's a vicious cycle.
