When is that someone realizes that he/she has a eating disorder? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/eating_diso... All you ever wanted to know. The first day of their recovery. Until then, they don't think they have a problem. Usually, they are the last to realize it...when they do...they could be on the road to recovery. I spent 2 weeks @ an eating disorder clinic for children NONE absolutely NONE of them thought they had a problem i have suffered from bulimia for about a year now... i didn't realize it until someone shoved the reality of it in my face... this happened when my friend walking in on me throwing up... we had a little cry session and that's when i realized that "i might have a problem" i'm in a recovery center now... and i'm finally starting to realize how serious my condition is. personal experience It took me about 2 years to realise that I have bulimia I still have it 5 years later. It comes and goes now that I'm getting older. |
