Does anybody know how to get help with an eating disorder?

i'm really scared to tell my parents and.. well really anyone.
alot of people always ask me if i eat healthly and sometimes if i even eat at all.

and when i watch movies and other television shows I get sick because all I want is to be skinny like the girls on those shows, or in those movies, or like the girls who model profressionally.
I just don't know what to do
everything I've tried doesnt work, or I either just give up.

I used to have and E.D. Stay away from PRO ana/mia sites.

One of the hardest steps to take when you have an eating disorder is to admit to yourself that you have one. Once you can do that and decide you want help, you are faced with another step of having to reveal this to another person. Since most people with eating disorders feel embarrassed and ashamed, the thought of telling someone can be terrifying. We fear how they will react when we tell them. We constantly ask ourselves, "Will they believe me?", "Will they be angry with me?", Will they leave me?", "Will I be locked up somewhere?" or "Will they think that I am crazy?" Those are only a few of the many questions that will probably go through your mind when you are getting ready to tell someone.

be sure that you chose to tell someone whom you trust and feel comfortable talking with. Many people start by telling a close friend or their family doctor. If you have a hard time opening up to your family but want to tell them, you can always have a friend or therapist with you when you tell them.

Before we tell someone, many of us spend hours trying to predict how that person will react. It is important to remind yourself that it is impossible for you to predict how anyone will react. Many people put off telling anyone because they usually have convinced themselves that anyone they tell will get upset, yell at them or abandon them. The thought of telling someone can be so terrifying that our minds will predict the worst case scenario of how people will react and try to convince you never to tell anyone. Its not your fault it happens to millions of men and women around the world. Just find some one to talk to..good luck.
if you would stop watching tv and exercise alot you could eat whatever you wanted and still be skinny and sexy..

your just lazy and spoiled.
you really should talk with your parents about this it is a problem and you cant keep this to your self sit down and talk with them they should understand and then start off in the right way to help you . . just talking it over with friends is not going to help you 40% will say eat 60% will say see a doctor . it is really best for you to talk with your family . good luck
It great that you have realized that you may have a serious problem.

In order to get help, you need to talk to someone. Maybe start out with a counselor, teacher or another trusted adult if you don't feel comfortable telling your parents right away.

I know it can be a hard thing to talk about or admit that you cannot control, but the sooner you get help, the more likely you are to be able to start on the road to recovery.
Then tell someone you trust. A school counseler, clergy, relative.
You need to been seen by a doctor.
This is very dangerous if you dont get help.
This is an illness. It is not your fault.
Please get help.
If you had some other medical problem, you would not be afraid to tell your parents.
This is no different.
Please, your parents love you and will understand.
