I am depressed about my weight, do I have an eating disorder? |
I have put on almost 2 stone since March, I am definitely not pregnant and am on the pill. I was diagnosed with PCOS at the beginning of the Summer however my GP says this shouldn't effect my weight. Very few of my clothes fit me any more (I was a size 10 and now probably a 14) and every time I eat I feel tremendous guilt and anger. I probably make myself sick at least 4 times a week. People say I am a very attractive girl but I feel so depressed about my looks that I don't want to leave the house lately. I used to be so confident but now the only time I have an ounce of self esteem is when i'm drunk. Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks x Stop takeing the pills there not good for u. size 14 is pretty big but drinking isnt the answer thats where ure xtra weight is coming from. go exercise Im sorry but i dont have an answer for you, but what i want to tell you, is that you shoudlnt worry about your weight that much because that is just gonna make you more depressed, just eat healthy, dont be on a strict diet tho..and try to exercise a bit, buy a nice dress (smaller size than ur actual) and look at it every morning and keep thinking that your gonna fit into it soon, maybe that would help you loose the weight...and dont you care about what other people think...as long as you're happy with yourself, that's all that should matter to you = ) good luck!!! It sounds more like you are suffering from depression, not an eating disorder. you need to find out what is bothering and seek advise and learn how to deal with it. but whether you are depressed or on the verge of an eating disorder you need to seek the advise of a professional because you wont find an anwser at the bottom of a bottle sweetie...dont worry feel down about it. the pill can cause weight gain, also a cornucopia of medical conditions like diabetes, thyroid problems and depression. watch the drinking because that will only compound the problem. i hear you loud and clear but what you need to think about is this: health and happiness go hand in hand. once you get to be a happier soul then your body will follow. try another form of birth control it may be side effects (the depression). then try something like yoga or walking to ease your stress. good luck! you deserve to be happy you don't get the years back! NO IF U JUST EAT ALOT THAT DONT MEAN YOUR FAT BECAUSE U CAN BE 125 AND THINK UR OVER WEIGHT BUT UR NOT LOVE YA |
