How can I keep people from acusing me of having an eating disorder?.....I AM NOT SICK!?

It seems that there are people who are a little too worried about me and my wheight. I eat healthy and don't restrict food or throw it up. I am just a petit person who wants to keep my thinn figure and likes to eat HEALTHY!!

due to jealousy or a simple lack of understanding, people's common reaction to people with eating disorders is "just eat". also, when you consider that every day the proportion of obese people in this world increases, i guess a thin person is a bit of a "novelty". i mean, consider how a single white person would feel in a community filled with black people? being thin in today's world is now the minority. however, if you are being truly honest with yourself and you don't have an eating disorder then all you can really do is let people see that you do eat, and possibly explain to them the benefits of a healthy diet, ie reduced risk of diabetes, heart disease, etc etc.

everything else aside, there is also a danger in being too thin, even if it is a result of eating healthily all of the time. as a female, your body needs a % of fat to "permit" it to produce oestrogen which will protect your bones from osteoperosis and allow you to ovulate and have children. being underweight also increases your risk of anaemia, heart irregularities, depression, anxiety, etc etc.

go see your doctor and have a checkup to ensure your body is healthy and if people continue to hassle you, put it to them whether they would be as blunt and cruel to your face if you were obese?

good luck.
