How can i help a friend that is developing an eating disorder?

She needs a professional. Also she needs you're support and family and friends to help her get on her way.
First, has the friend asked for your help? If not, then, all you can do is wait until that happens. If they have asked you for help, support is what they need most of all.
Support him/her. The most common reason why someone gets an eating disorder is because they think they're fat. Tell them that you like them for who they are, not what they look like. They should accept their body for what it it. Remember: there is such thing as too thin!
Start exercising with them and when your with them, eat healthy(stay away from sugars)
This is a tuff question but one that I think that I can answer. First how bad is it and how long has it been going on? You need to tell your friend that he/she needs to tell A doctor because this is a big deal. Some eating disorders if not taken care of could be fatal. You need to realize that if you do decide to tell someone else about your friend he/she may get upset with you but being upset with someone is better than the alternative. Good luck to you and your friend.
