Ok i want to lose weight but i do think i have a eating disorder.?

What it is when i eat i cann't stop till i am completly full like full to the bone. Also like i cann't stop myself from having to eat a late nite meal usually leftovers. Like i tell myself i don't want to eat but it is like i have to no choice. I am just so unhealty i am only about 5"6' and weigh 230lbs which is big for my size. I do beleive i should be somewhere around 150lbs or 160lbs. Is there anything i can do to help me stop making my self so full i want to get sick and how can i pass the cravings i get late at nite? If anyone has any suggestions let me say thank you ahead of time.

Visit a stroke or heart unit an see your future if you don't do something about it now.

Try an SSRI like welbutirn for depression and compulsions...must get from DR.

Get an in home gym like Bowflex and a stair stepper / walker. Use the strength training to build muscle and when you over eat, calculate the calories and burn them up on the stair stepper or walker.
Aww hun i feel for you. I know exactly how u are feeling I am 5'4 and 220. Possibly you are comfort eating tying to feel a big void. I noticed this about myself, i finally realized it when i noticed my 2 year old daughter mimicing me as young kids tend to do. I would catch her sneaking crackers or chips in her bed and eating until she fell asleep. I cant really give you any advice on this situation as you can tell i am in a similar situation. the best thing i can tell you if try to find your void and fill it with something more positive.
I have the same exact problem... I eat but never feel full till I eat too much and then feel bloated.. Then about 1-2 hrs later I'm hungry again..... There is a new drug on the market it's called Byetta It's an injection you take it before you eat breakfast then again before you eat dinner. What it does is slow down the digestive tract so you feel full sooner and it lasts longer.. I've been on this since last June and I've dropped 115 lbs... You need to check with you're doctor...It really does work..
People who ate steadily throughout the day experienced significantly lower body fat levels than those who skipped meals..

transfatti acids - try to avoid trans fat and check the labels on processed food; also avoid hydrogenated vegetable oils

omega 3:6 ratio - eat more Omega 3 rich food such as fish oil and avoid omega 6 supplements such as evening primrose oil

Lipid profile - check your cholesterol and triglyceride levels periodically/yearly

Hyperphagia - Take smaller meals and avoid snacks in between meals

First of all, the most important thing is your will/self control. Stop eating when you have taken care of the hunger, do not eat till you are so full to the bone. Before starting to eat, drink lots of fluids till you feel full, only then feed yourself, this way, you may feel full to the bone right before you can finish your meal.

About the mid night snack, try to chew on carrots or cucumber...you can make salad with them, just slice them up and add a dash of french dressing...they are delicious yet healthier than leftovers.
It's not easy but you have to try....dicipline yourself....tell yourself that if you are going to keep at the rate you are going, you will be miserable, not only physically but psychologically.
Gud luck!
drink lots of water, it'll make you full enough so you won't get hungry.
drink 3 glasses of water before each meal and make the meal mostly if not all vegetables
