Is it possible to be of normal body weight and still have an eating disorder? |
I know I am slightly underweight and I always have been. I never count calories and I never excersise although I am always very busy at work and always run around. I am 5'5 and weight 107 so my BMI is 17.8. I guess I am just wondering if this is unhealthy if so what are good foods to eat to gain weight that are still healthy? You don't have any signs of having an eating disorder...although it is possible to be a normal body weight and have an eating disorder. You are a little underweight, but it's nothing to be alarmed about if you aren't showing other signs. You may want to have a check up with your doctor if you are concerned about being underweight though. take care It doesn't sound terribly underweight, you may have a small frame. You may be naturally thin! If it isn't intentional then I wouldn't call it an eating disorder; as much as I would call it a metobolic disorder! |
