Why do people get all bent out of shape if someone has an Eating Disorder & they know the dangers of it?!?!?!?

Why do people get all bent out of shape if someone has an Eating Disorder & they know the dangers of it?!?!?!?

Well, if a person has an eating disorder, and they are aware of all the physiological dangers of it, then the concern is not only the eating disorder. The first issue to deal with is the psychological issues that the person must be in to make a conscious choice to kill themselves, because as the years go on, bulimia and anorexia will slowly, but surely, cause organ failure one by one and the different systems that allow your body to function will malfunction.
Think about it like this: how thin will you really look in your clothes with a dialysis port sticking out of your chest because your kidneys are rotten;how sexy can a tube to your stomach sticking out of your side really be, since your esophagus and teeth are corroded away from all the HCl from your vomit and you must be fed soft foods through the tube? How sexy is that....
Its not only the dangers of an eating disorder that really concerns people; it's the mental state of a person that knowingly choses to kill themselves so slowly that's most troubling.
