The girl I love is currently depressed and I think she is having a relapse of her eating disorder. I want so badly to help. She is amazing and I want to help her realize it. I know that I need to be there for her and support her but is there anything else I can do or does anyone know of a book that can help me with my problem or should I try talking to a professional therapist to get advice? Please help. love, care, and making her feel that there is some one to look after her, depression have many reasons but in such case i feel she wants to get pampered but the situation deos not prevail and help to her cause or she may be feel insecure, she may be hiding her feel inside herself, she needs some one to care, to share her feelings or she may have faced the torture and harassement from her own family and starting to look the whole world by her same eyes in same point of view, don't tell her about pyschiart, she will feel bad. i only advice you if you can do anything for her good god may bless you. try not to hurt such person eating disorder due to same feeling where is not understand what she is doing, eating -disorder is like attack on her mental health, better some one serve her. may god help her to recover, prayer to god, he will find his own ways. joe land tapes/CDs they work. i tried them years ago for weight loss. they are cheap and you can buy just one if you want. i recommend these, but they have a bunch of them: ______________ EMOTIONAL EATING (CD B) Psychologists and other experts who deal with problems of obesity have found that most overweight people eat in response to emotional needs. Deep seated drives hark back to early childhood. Often this constant eating is brought on by boredom, depression, and loneliness. It's used as a means to an end. But, the end never comes. Until now. This tape goes to work on the damaging precursors of emotional eating ... those dark and mysterious desires that never reveal their name or nature to the overeater. It subdues old feelings with stronger, more positive messages and quickly shows you anxiety, not hunger, is the culprit that drives you to eat. The result: You should stop thinking food is the panacea and begin to deal with emotions in other ways. Your figure reflects the new programming. You eat less. SELF-CONFIDENCE (002) The self-confidence program is designed to create concepts, ideas and images of confidence within your subconscious mind. The program concentrates on creating faith in your abilities. This faith in you generates an inner drive so that optimism and enthusiasm will be yours. With confidence, belief in yourself, a strong positive attitude and good self-image, you can accomplish whatever you choose. SELF-IMAGE (007) Our program on self-image puts affirmations into the subconscious mind, which will allow you to vividly imagine yourself, as you want to be. A desired financial goal will be much easier to accomplish if you feel worthy of the accomplishment. Virtually every philosopher and proponent of human growth potential places an extreme importance on self-image. Unless your perception of yourself is such that you believe yourself capable, worthy and deserving, financial success will elude you. http://www.southwestsubliminal.com/south... http://www.southwestsubliminal.com/defau... just be by her side and show her how things should be. laughter helps too. if i didn't have someone like you to make me laugh everyday, i would cry and also relapse. its hard to find someone who truly cares about you whether you know it or not. show how much you truly love her and be by her side. try to get her to talk because that is the only way she will overcome her problems. if you call a center for eatng disorders they will be able to point you in the right direction. they really are great places and help alot of people. i have done it and it was the best thing i ever did. i got my life back! so good luck and keep lovin! I would join a support group for families and friends of people who have eating disorders, they will be able to give you the best advice.
