My friend has habit of eating chalk.what disorder in her body she can face.?

Some people would like to believe that it is because of def of calcium inbody, but this is all wrong, child has chalk/mud as a part of psychosexual growth. the child can develop worms in his stomach as it may be contaminated by eggs
Its called "pica"
it's called "pica" and pregnant women get it sometimes, the craving to eat chalk or sometimes dirt. I'm not sure if it's real unhealthy...maybe look it up online and see the effects.
nothing happens.....my cousin brother is having the same problem

but tell ur friend to avoid eating chalks.......
If she eats chalk then that is a sign that she lacks calcium. I used to have that same problem where I ate chalk and also powder.
not really sure. maybe the germs and bacteria they are inside may weaken her immune system but chalk being calcium carbonate shld be ok. a source of calcium? otherwise it will jux form a white precipitate when i contact with water and co2.
people with lack of calcium have the tendency to eat chalks..
