Do some people with biploar disorder cover up their disorder by eating alot of candy to make them hyperactive? |
Do some people with biploar disorder cover up their disorder by eating alot of candy to make them hyperactive? it's been shown in scientific studies that there's no such thing as a "sugar rush". but it wouldn't help with bipolar anyways. bipolar is a condition of having manic episodes (uncontrollable energy, anxiety, creativity, activity, etc.) but also have severe episodes of depression. So if they are hyperactive (and this isn't just for a few minutes, but often for days on end, going without sleep for many hours) it is very unlikely to be from a "sugar high". Um,I'm no shrink but I doubt anyone would try to cover up their disorder by eating candy. Sounds like they might have an impulse control disorder, or perhaps the mania is causing the overeating. Or maybe they are just pigs. Im sure bipolar isnt seeable unless you think of it and it react's.It's like depression only if you tell someone about it they will know what your symptom is!!candy get rid of bipolar disorder if you want to react in a bad way yes lol like go nut's and act drunk.Sheesh what am i on about. Wow, wish it was that easy. Just sit around eating candy all the time to make myself hyper. Yeah, candy doesn't even make me hyper. By the way, I have bi-polar disorder. So, I've never done this. Butt, the way I control mine is by finding something that I enjoy that calms me down. Like poetry, music, and drawing. It's not covering it up, it's controling it. There's a HUGE difference. There really is no way of 'covering it up'. It's always going to be there, and people do notice it, maybe not right away, but they will. Butt, candy, no. I wish. Not in my experience. Part of bi-polar is mania, candy or not. The candy eating is probably a result of the mania or possibly an attempt by the body to maintain blood sugar levels.Since mania is i sinificant part of the disorder ingesting something to heighten hyper, manic behavior would call attention to the problem if anything |
