Do I have binge eating disorder?

I`m 5 ft 5 in and 137 lb, I`m not overweight but I love taking a lot of snacks between meals. Does this mean I have the binge eating disorder? If so, can I become overweight because of it?

Just because you eat a lot of snacks doesn`t mean you suffer from the binge eating disorder. If you eat when you`re not hungry and until you`re uncomfortably full, you probably have the binge eating disorder. Binge eating is more common for overweight people. However, you do need to cut those snacks. You can read more about the binge eating disorder here projectweightloss.com 鈥?they also have a bunch of information about losing weight. Binge eating makes people more isolated, they prefer to eat by themselves, they`re more stressed, angry, and feel irresponsible. If you don`t feel like that, no need to worry. However, too many snacks aren`t healthy.
Eating snacks does not mean you have binge eating disorder. That is when you can't stop yourself from eating and you eat until you phsycially can't eat anymore.
Eating a lot of snacks doesn't necessarily qualify as bingeing. Bingeing is something like instead of having a few cookies, you eat half or the whole box of cookies. Instead of having just a bowl of ice cream, you compulsively feel the need to eat ALL of the ice cream in the container. It's a compulsive need to eat, not simply overeating.
