Is being 'Greedy' the same as having a eating disorder ?

my mother said I was born 'greedy' and would want to continue to breastfeed or bottlefeed, even after having a tight and full stomach and as a child I always wanted to eat more and more and more, even after being full. I would even dream about food. so was I born with an eating disorder, is this emotional eating ??

Infants are not "greedy". They eat until they sense fullness. I would be more inclined to wonder if there was a physiological explanation for your failure to feel "full" in a timely manner. It is possible that after infancy, in addition to the failure to sense satiety issue, that you developed an additional "emotional eating" type of issue. Source(s): occupational hazard
