I may have endometriosis. Advice? Experience?

Ive been having pelvic pain since February, had an IUD which had to be removed after 4 months because of the pain, got pregnant then miscarried and the pain kept getting worse. After several doctor's visit's and seeking different opinions and running tests, the OBgyn says the only thing it could be now is endometriosis. Ive been checked for everything else and its all negative and normal. I havent done the lap yet but Im considering BC treatment for 6 months to see if it responds. I really dont know much about this condition or its ramifications but Ive been told it could render me infertile. We are trying to conceive our first child so we are nervous about that. I am 27, healthy except for carrying extra weight and being anemic. The pain varies depending on my cycle, I dont think Im ovulating and the pain is also worse if my bladder is full. Its very uncomfortable. I dont get relief from painkillers. Ive been using heating pads though.
Anyone out there with Endo with some advice?

Did you have trouble conceiving? Should I get into treatment ASAP or try conceive as early as possible? The doc said he suggests i try conceive earlier rather than later because of the infertility risk. Any pain relief advice? Any treatment advice? Im also concerned about it spreading to other organs, like my bladder, intestines etc. How can I prevent that? Any alternative medicines that could help modern medicine out?

>>It wont spread it only happens in your uterus. I have a friend who had endometriosis they told her without surgery her chances of haveing a child were less than 7% after she had the surgery to remove the excess tissues she got pregnant right away>>

Re: the above -

As the poster indicated correctly in her message edit to you, Endometriosis DOES spread - by very nature of the disease, it IS outside the uterus. Were the tissues confined to the uterus, it would simply be normal endometrium, or in cases of actual disease confined to the myometrium, Adenomyosis.

Without surgery, there is no diagnosis or definitive treatment of Endometriosis. Surgery also increases fertility rates and should always be considered first and foremost in a case where Endo and/or subsequent infertility are suspected.

It wont spread it only happens in your uterus. I have a friend who had endometriosis they told her without surgery her chances of haveing a child were less than 7% after she had the surgery to remove the excess tissues she got pregnant right away and now she has 3 beautiful babies good luck to you and i would say to try earlier because of the risks
