Endometriosis Help Girls?

I have just had a laparacopy done 2 days ago after severe abdominal pain for a whole year so still recovering the surgeon found blood and puss filled cycsts and on my ovaries took a biopsy for the lab then removed them and lots of patching of endometriotis and removed this, my fallopian tubes were fine.

Will I ever be able to concieve and if so what are the chances?

Will it ever return or move to anywere else in the body?

Why do they need to send the puss out the cysts to lab test them?

I too have endo. I've had it since I was 14 and I'm now 25. I've had 4 surgeries to remove cysts, and endo. The last surgery that I had was performed by a reproductive specialist. He had to remove it from everywhere including my bowels. He advised that though the endo was everywhere, he was able to clear it up. He told me I would be able to conceive. Two months after I was married, I found out I was pregnant!!! Yay. We started trying early on, because we thought it still may be difficult. We had a nice surprise. Good luck to you.

Well, if your fallopian tubes are fine, then that's a good sign--one reason endometriosis can prevent pregnancy is by blocking the fallopian tubes so the egg can't get to the uterus. But the endo will inevitably return and travel in your body, so the situation now is no guarantee that it won't change later. They needed to send the puss and cysts out as an ordinary precaution--whenever they remove something from the body, they have it tested to make sure it's not cancerous.

I don't have it but my friend does. The doctor told her the older she gets the less likely she will be able to conceive. So far no baby for her. She has been trying for about 6 years now.
Hers did return. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. hers did and keeps getting worse each time.
They send it to the lab just to check to see if it is cancerous. It is just a precautionary measure. So far everyone that has ever talked about it to me has said that their Dr. has always checked it for cancer. I think it may just be standard procedure.

You can absolutely still get pregnant in spite of Endometriosis. While it is important to note that Endo is a leading cause of female primary and secondary infertility, as well as pregnancy loss, the fact remains that with PROPER treatment - i.e., meticulous surgical removal from all locations - even stage 3 and 4 patients can go on to have healthy, successful pregnancies without IVF/ART protocols and intervention.

Barring that, if it becomes necessary, they can enlist in such fertility treatments with great success.

Unless properly excised and totally removed, the disease will be left behind and will continue to thrive and cause symptoms. Incomplete removal is unfortunately what happens in the majority of cases. See the links above for a discussion on why it's important - and how it's totally possible - to successfully excise from all areas.

Endo does not migrate wildly around the body, but as the disease goes through it's various stages of activity and inflammation, the pain can certainly increase and symptoms may get worse. New symptoms may also crop up in areas where none previously existed (i.e. bowel, bladder, etc.) because of increasing changes in the areas of disease there.
