Does this sound like I may have endometriosis? |
I have alot of pain during sex, it feels like he is hitting my uterus or ovaries and we have to stop alot. Also I can't wear tampons, never have been, they hurt too bad. I used to have TERRIBLE menstrual cramps but that have subsided a little bit, there still bad but they are bareable. I also urinate quite frequently and I have been trying to get pregnant for over a year with no luck. Does that sound like endometriosis to you? I am having a HSG done tomorrow, will they be able to tell if I have it with that? I have all of the symptoms you have described an I have been diagnosed with endometriosis. There are some other things that can cause what you are describing and you may very well have many of those. the only sure way to diagnose endometriosis is to have a laproscopy. This procedure is no big deal. They go in through your belly button and look around and see what is going on. I had this done along with a DNC and I was fine afterwards. I would definitely recommend you talking to your doctor about this so if it is endometriosis they can start trying to treat it and you can get some relief! GOOD LUCK! I don't know how they test for it. I know that a nurse strongly urged me to be tested for it but I haven't yet. You have some of the same symptoms that I have. However, my menstrual pains have not eased at all. |
