Is there any permanent treatment for endometriosis? |
Is there any permanent treatment for endometriosis? It depends on what stage. I have stage 3 endometriosis. Some people will have it scraped off their uterus and other organs, but that does not guarantee that it will not grow back. If the endometriosis has not spread to other organs and places of the body, but has stayed generally on the uterus, removing the uterus, a hysterectomy, will be the only cure. But, if it has spread elsewhere, again, just scraping it off will not guarantee that it will not come back. you should go see a specialist, they will be able to recommend the right treatment for you |
