I have endometriosis, and had cysts on both ovaries removed in 05', is it possible to still get pregnant? |
My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant since May with no luck so far. I have endometriosis and had cysts on both of my ovaries which were surgically removed in 2005. I'm starting to think that I won't be able to get pregnant and am curious as to how many other woman have gotten pregnant and carried full term while having endometriosis and/or ovarian cysts? And to make it even harder, all of my friends....and it seems like everyone else I know...are pregnant. Please help ease my mind. I'm driving myself and my husband crazy! Give it time, i know its horrible to say but you've only been trying since May... I would possible go back to your doctor just to have a check up to ensure the endo and/or cysts hasnt returned as they are known to return even after there removal... With endometriosis it seems like anything can happen and everyone is different. |

Give it time, i know its horrible to say but you've only been trying since May... I would possible go back to your doctor just to have a check up to ensure the endo and/or cysts hasnt returned... I'm 19 and I have endometriosis too. I understand the pain that you're going through. I had heavy, really painful periods as well and I was put on birth control to control the periods and... I currently have a 6cm cyst, have been trying to get pregnant. They need to remove mine though. My fertility doctor said they would not proceed with another cycle until the cyst is below 2cm.
