Endometriosis and WORK? |
I have endometriosis and my job is giving me a hard time. Im filling out an ADA "reasonable accomodation" form and i want to ask for 2 days off a month when i need it. At work, im a jewelry sales associate for Sams club and am on my feet ALL day. The pain is so bad that i cant even move or walk, it puts me in TEARS...let alone cater to people and speak to them without collapsing.... Yes, that could be a reasonable accommodation but I would recommend talking with your gyn as well before submitting this form to see what they think is considered reasonable. |

I found out I have endometriosis when I had a tubal ligation reversal surgery in April. The doctor who did the laparoscopy said he had found a small amount and removed it. Though in the last few... I have it at the most severe level, and never was able to conceive naturally. My main problem was that even after surgery, the internal scarring from the endo left my organs slightly out of place.... |
