Ladies have you had a Presacral neurectomy during laparoscopy for endometriosis?

Hello,
I am having surgery on Thursday and my doctor wants to perform a Presacral neurectomy. I don't know a lot about it, so I was wondering if there are other ladies out there that have had this done. Also what have been your experiences? Did it help? Have you experienced any complications from it?

Thank you for your time and help.

I had a LUNA 5 years ago and it was the best thing I ever did...

Presacral neurectomy is supposed to be better than a LUNA but both carry risks. The benefits far outweighed the risks for me...I got my life back but it is a very individual decision and will depend largely upon the quality of life (or lack thereof) that you have now.

For me the constant pain of endometriosis started to take over my life. Phsychologically it can begin to define you - the LUNA took away the pain and gave me the much needed opportunity to be the person I was before I was diagnosed with this awful condition!

Good luck - hope it all goes okay xx
