Has anyone had treatment at thecenter for endometriosis care-Atlanta ?

I am considering treatment with the cec atlanta and I am wondering if anyone has had treatment or a consultation with the cec. I would like to know your outcome and if you still have endo after treatment with the cec.

12 years later after surgery w/the CEC, still no Endo symptoms. Best thing I ever did to win the battle against this disease.

I haven't been there but I've met several women who have been there for surgery for their endometriosis. Many of them have had very good results.

Some of the ladies are on this list: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ERC

Let the moderators know that someone from Yahoo Answers referred you to the list.

I have had treatment (surgery) there twice. Once in November 2006 and just four weeks ago.

If you are really serious about having surgery, I would at least have a consultation. Just call them and send your medical records to them. One of the doctors will call you to discuss your case.

I had Stage IV endo, most of which was removed during my first surgery. During the second surgery I had diaphragmatic endo removed from the chest-side of my diaphragm so a thoracic surgeon was also needed. Only a few small spots of endo were found in my pelvic area this last time. I'm still recovering, but I'm hoping I will be feeling better than ever by the new year.

Please feel free to email me if you have any more questions I may be able to help you with.
