Does epilepsy medication lamictal make your hair thin? I have been on Lamictal for several years and still have a pretty full head of hair. Just like any drug it has a long list of possible side effects, but I don't see anything about hair loss. Hi, you are right some meds do make your hair thin you need to go to the Pharmacy where you got your meds filled and ask them to print you up the info. and side affects of this medication and thy will do this for free plus this pharmacist can tell also that person is just as good as a Doctor I have a friend that's having the same problem she found out that her meds were the cause of her hair falling out not a hole that she can do so what I did for her was we Layered her hair quit high and used a voluming mouse blow drying hair upside down to make it full and just curled the ends under with 1-1/2 inch barrel iron and then just finger picked it out and it feels and looks so thick and she loves it, if you don't want to use a curling rod just use a big round brush and it will give you the same effect. I sure hope this will help you. |
