Can epilepsy dissappear in adulthood?

Can epilepsy dissappear in adulthood?

yes,but it usually doesnt. It depends on the type. Juvinile myoclonic -tonic-clonic is almost certainly a life sentence. Thats what I have.It does get a little better as the years pass. The "bad" brain cells slow down, along with the "good" ones. You also learn to deal with it ,and deal with it you do.

Other types that develop in childhood I think have a better chance of going away.

It essentially has for my nephew but he is only 21. He still can't drive though so it isn't exactly cured. Hopefully time will cure it completely.
