Epilepsy support groups?

does any one know of any epilepsy support groups, (online doesnt matter, have trouble moving about anyway, lol)
looking to talk to other people who have epilepsy to get an idea of what i have and what other people's experiences with it are

You could try 'the epilepsy chat' on msn or

www.forum4e.com

or another that is pretty new and holds Tuesday night support sessions is

www.kristencortes.com although this last one you have to explain who you are and where you heard the address from. I have been chatting with Kirsten for some time and if you mention my name Debbie from the H'E.A.R.O' cause page you will be able to join the group and sessions. She also has a pen pal system up and running so you can share epilepsy experiences with someone in a similar situation.

My yahoo group has only been up and running for a week but I am hoping it will go from strength to strength. I have lots of Epilepsy information on my space. Why not visit www.myspace.com/eareachingout.

Hope this helps you. Good luck!
from Debbie founder of H'E.A.R.O' (Helping to spread Epilepsy Awareness by Reaching Out)

I have never looked into it.

However, i would check the Epilepsy Foundation. also, I have done tons and tons of research on it since diagnosis (1997). If you cannot find anything under epilepsy support, you may want to check "seizure disorder"

If you have any more detailed questions, feel free to e-mail me

So far the best place Ive found to talk to others with Epilepsy is www.epilpesy.com. The chat room is great. Its really nice to talk to others that have the same disability as you. All the people on there are wonderful! The site also offers blogging, telling your Epilepsy story, forums and a Seizure Diary. I love the site!!!!

There is a epilepsy chat room. www.my.epilepsy.com You can talk to people who have it or know someone with it. They are all cool. You can check that out. And its all free.
