Anyone have primary reading epilepsy?

I have had seizures for 6 years now, and just recently figured out what causes them. All of my tests, EEG, CT scan, MRI etc have come back fine, no doctor can give me an answer of why. Last week I had two and figured it out. I have always had an issue if I read out loud or silently for a long period my lip starts jerking and twitching and I can't speak. Well turns out if I continue to read and I go into a grand mal seizure. Looking back I realize that I was always reading when I had a seizure. I"m trying to do research but can't find a lot of information about it or a doctor I can see about this.
Anyone else have this problem, or know where I can find any information about it??
Thanks.

I have Epilepsy - i haven't come across anyone who has seizures triggered by reading but i do know people who have seizures after whilst listening to music and others whilst brushing their teeth, so i doubt you are the only person!

I'm a member of some Epilepsy forums, and they may be able to answer your question for you: here are the links:

I work for the Epilepsy Foundation & have heard of similar triggers in the past. Please go to www.epilepsyfoundation.org. You need to speak to an epileptologist, your local epilepsy foundation should be able to put you in touch with one.

stop reading
course reading my response might cause you seizures, stop if you started reading.

i would say check with a doc, it might be a new very strange disease they can name after you. or at the least, maby a special form of medication that would help.
