What activities (sports,instruments, etc.) do you recommend for a child who has Epilepsy?

my brother is 12 years old and has Rolandic Epilepsy therefore he's very sensitive and gets nervous very easily. We tried taking him to soccer but he's chubby and didn't like running at all he's very shy, I know that it's necessary for him to be active and interact with kids his age because he's homeschooled so doesn't have many friends or outside activities. What are some sports or activities for a child like him?

Hiking, fishing, camping... Things that put less pressure to compete... As far as his social life... Boyscouts, camp, or find some sort of local organization for families with a similar issue. It helps to be around people that understand your circumstance.

As far as an instrunment, doesn't matter all too much. Should be in a concert band or orchestra though. Solo instrunments like guitar and piano put too much pressure on Epilepsy children. I played clarinet, was a quiet instrunment and gave me much satisfaction to succeed with it.
