What activities (sports, instruments, etc.) do you recommend for a child who has Epilepsy? |
my brother is 12 years old and has Rolandic Epilepsy therefore he's very sensitive and gets nervous very easily. We tried taking him to soccer but he's chubby and didn't like running at all he's very shy, I know that it's necessary for him to be active and interact with kids his age because he's homeschooled so doesn't have many friends or outside activities. What are some sports or activities for a child like him? Hiking, fishing, camping... Things that put less pressure to compete... As far as his social life... Boyscouts, camp, or find some sort of local organization for families with a similar issue. It helps to be around people that understand your circumstance. |
