What happens in a persons brain who has epilepsy? |
what goes on in people's brain if they have epilepsy? It also depends upon where in the brain the seizure originates from. When I have a grand mal seizure, (memory center) I lose my memory totally and it takes hours for it to gradually come back. Doctors say that the electrical connections don't fire like they are suppose to & sends the brain into spasms which in turn sends the body into spasms. It works alot like the electricity in your house, if u get a short in a wire sparks fly & sometimes you get a small shock followed by a larger one if u touch the wire the second time.in epilepsy its equal to that second touch with every seizure |
