Help! Aggressive Cat! My two year old cat was recently diagnosed with Epilepsy. She spent 3 days at vet? |
Her first day home, she was OK. Took medicine in pill pockets. That night she refused pill pockets and wouldn't eat pills in food. Tried to give them to her twice. She bit me. Finally she ate some of of her pills in food. OK for the rest of day. Acted Normal until after we went to bed. Started Growling and refused to let me out of bedroom! Yikes! I had TLE but it didn't sound nothing like what you described.I would have the aura, then have the seizure and then recuperate from it which in overall time was 1 to 2 minutes with seizure onl... maybe ask for anti stress meds? ...She could go into spinal shock which is where she would loose more voluntary movement above the injury but would eventually regain it. ... It is very rare for someone with a seizure disorder to qualify for social security disability... it can happen though. Basically you have to more than one grand mal seizure a month, for at least 3 ... Sometimes it lessens but sometimes not and even though it is extremly frustrating it does get easier to cope with it. It could also be down to the medication the first one I was given was the worst... |
