Can marijuana be prescribed to treat epilepsy? |
I am epileptic and it seems to help control my seizures (but I might just be high) I supposed yo could find a doctor who would prescribe it, but I wouldn't believe them. Epilepsy is so complex that you can't bet on what would be good or bad for your seizures. Come on, if a flickering light or even seeing an odd pattern could give someone a seizure, do you think inhaling a bunch of chemicals that effect your state of consciousness is a good idea? Plus, if you're already on a medication for seizures then it's even a worse idea. Think of how many medications warn you about taking them with another drug, and then think of all the different drug in marijuana. My advice, take you medication and find another way to relax. |
