Any tips for keeping an estrogen patch from coming off?

My wife had a hysterectomy, and the doctor prescribed estrogen patches that stick on her skin. She is having trouble getting them to stay on for the entire time she is supposed to wear them (1 week) She tried them on many places (butt, leg, stomach, back), but it seems her clothes always snag the edges and cause them to start peeling off and and the sticky side starts collecting lint and dust, and they fall off after a few days.
Any tips from women who use these things to help make them stay on better?
It is getting frustrating for her, and I want her to continue using these things since it has made her libido go through the roof!

Bunny Farm has some good ideas. To that I'd add that she should apply them and press down for 20 seconds or so, while not moving, to make sure that they stick well. She could also try a 3-day patch like Vivelle Dot, so they don't have to stay on as long. Also, check this out:

Always apply them to clean skin that has been washed with a soap that dries (not moisturizes) the skin, like Dial or Zest. Apply them to a part of the body that does not move too much. I've found that applying them to my legs somewhere between my buttocks and where the pockets of my jeans would be minimalizes wrinkling and peeling. After she applies them, she should put some baby powder over them.
