What happens if a woman takes estrogen?!?

So I know a man takes the drug to be more feminine. But what happens if a woman takes estrogen or if a man takes testosterone? Nothing happens?
Their femininity / masculinity develops?!- IF SO HOW?!
If they estrogen can give men breasts can't it give flat chested women breasts too!? If testosterone can cause body/facial hair on women why cant it cause hairless men to grow a beard?!

Estrogen is what you find in many birth control pills. It's also known to increase the incidence of breast cancer in some women.

The use of testosterone in men is similar to steroid use, in that it increases those "man" traits, such as muscle mass, but also increases sex drive and the capacity for "rages".
