Is my estrogen level too high?

I'm 16 (close to 17), male, and in my recent blood test it says my estrogen level is 158 pg/ml.

Is this normal, and could it explain my disproportional body?

There are different types of estrogen & different types of blood tests for estrogen. Please clarify if this is your total estrogens (which should be between 40鈥?7 pg/mL) or your estradiol (which generally lists below 54 pg/mL as the reference range for males but a better level is 20-30 pg/mL. Above 35 pg/mL doubles your chance of a heart attack or stroke.)
In either case, your estradiol is way too high.

I didn't catch your other question (& your questions are listed as private) so I can't address the body issue precisely, but it could definitely cause gynecomastia & female pattern storage of body fat ("pear shape", with fat at hips & narrow chest).

It depends on your age. The blood test should give a high and low range just as it did for your testosterone. (I saw your testosterone report in another post and it was on the low end) A mans' body can convert testosterone into estrogen and if it does this to a high degree it can change the way your body handles fat and muscle growth. Better consult an endocrinologist on this if you want the right diagnosis/prognosis.
