Could I have fibroids?

My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for over 3 years now......we started getting help from a doctor about 3 months ago. Anyhow......the doctor wanted to make sure his sperm count was okay before he did anything with me. The results came back as 60 million and 80 million...which is good.....So, I am guessing that there is something wrong with me. I am 28 years old......never been pregnant (never tried before). Never had birth control. My periods are very painful, very heavy, and very clotty.....and my cycles are irregular...anywhere from 24 days to 32 days....none of my doctors are concerned about this....it has been that way since I was about 20. Anyhow.......my first doctor told me I had a couple of fibroids. I was 18 at that time. I have seen 2 other doctors and neither of them have said anything at all about fibroids and neither of them are concerned about my period. Does anyone else experience this? Does anyone know what the next step in fertility treatment may be

I also sufered from HORRIBLE periods for years. I was passing clots the size of half dolloars and the pain was awful. My GYN tried putting me on BC for a month, hoping it would aleviate the pain. This didn't help, so he did an ultrasound of my uterous. Turns out, had fibroids on my uterous, the worst of them being on the right side, Sounds as if this maybe your problem as well. I would ask you doctor to do an ultrasound and if he won't, find nother doctor who will. Good Luck.

next step ? since they have not found anything with ur hus,u will be said to have sex in middle of flowless days often.....
they may examine u for tissue samples from womb....
fibroids rarely cause this so trying naturally would be their advise........if at all a fibroid operation is suggested ask what are chances of uncontrollable bleeding during surgery and what would they do to prevent that?make your own decisions i have seen women with fibroids getting preg so go with ur doc .....
