Diagnosed with uterine fibroids.Friend has not offered any emotional support.Should I end this "friendship" |
I have a friend that I've known since childhood. We don't spend alot of time together because she lives in a different town that is hard to get to without a vehicle. Unfortunately, I do not have a car.She has a vehicle, but claims it needs repairing.I know she is a liar because she has driven several times to shopping centers near my place, not knowing until she tells me after the fact. She called me up the other night saying she wants to hang out.We were on the phone less than a minute before she said she would call me back because someone else came on the other line.As usual I am last on her list.I waited for her to call back, never did.The next day I sent her a text telling her I am tired of her games. She got defensive and didn't understand the problem.Said she has lots of friends and is popular.I told her that I am going through a rough time right now and I need her to be a friend to me.She didn't even ask me if I needed help or a shoulder to cry. Has not called since. What to do? im sorry for what happnened. end it. your friend should help you. she should automatically put you first on her list, if she knew you needed help. she's not a good friend, you deserve better. I had a friend like this for 15 years and after years of her being so self centered and trying to talk to her about it..I ended the friendship...My mom past away and all she said was oh...YA I need to tell you about this guy I met..that is when I knew it was over |
