Can ultrasound or hystersalpinogram identify fibroids?

Can ultrasound tell whether a growth in the uterus is fibroid or not?
Can hystersalpinogram (HSG) (X-ray the uterus with dye) tell the nature of such a growth?

Probably. and I know someone who learned she had fibroid by having hsg (it's said to be quite uncomfortable, cramping).

Most definitely. But this is not the place to ask such questions. You should ask the doctors or nurses.
