Could I have a fibroid tumor?

I am a 20 year old female. Since January I've had chronic stomach pain below the belly button. It comes and goes, but at times it's so bad I can't walk or stand. I've been to the hospital twice because of it. They've done a CT, endoscopy, stomach biopsy, colonoscopy, and colon biopsy. The Doctors say there is nothing wrong that they can see with my GI tract, and my pain does not seem to be food related.

My mom just found a fibroid tumor in her uterus. A friend of mine brought up that a fibroid could also cause my symptoms. I don't want to get too worried about this, as I'm only 20, and that seems a bit young, and I don't know if a fibroid would show up on a CT or not. Please let me know if this is a legitimate fear or if I should see a gyno right away.

CT's should show fibroids, or ultrasounds as well. However, if it simply an abdominal CT then you wouldn't get a great view of the pelvis, and it could miss it.

However, fibroids can get quite big in women of reproductive age, can cause heavy bleeding and pain along with menstruation. Usually the pattern of pain is related to periods, but it can occur in between as well.

I would still see a gyno though, pelvic pain, either from fibroids, endometroisis, pelvic inflammatory disease, pelvic adhesions, or other causes can cause symptoms that look like GI symptoms.

I have a friend who had frequent stomach pain and she wound up having Celiac Disease which is a intolerance to Gluten (found in bread, noodles and pastries). You might try excluding wheat/gluten from your diet for a week or two and then re-introducing it to see if that makes a difference in your pain.
