Any tips for alleviating the pain of fibroids? |
Any tips for alleviating the pain of fibroids? that depends on how severe ur symptoms are. mine are pretty mild(have 3 fibroids) compared to some. i have an enlarged uterus but other than that it's mostly lowerback pain, occasional mild cramping, and clotting. i don't bleed constantly, my # of days have stayed the same, but my bleeding can be heavy at times. i'm not anemic but my iron is low. i've been prescribed ibuprofen(800mg) as needed for pain. i take a vitamin supplement w/additional iron to help w/the iron. for the cramping i take hot showers or baths and heating pads. drink hot liquids(caffeine free teas or low-sodium soups). |
